NBC reports tonight that people are and have been dumping their unused and outdated prescription drugs in the toilet. It goes directly to the rivers, streams and lakes and is not affected by the filtration system. So we are drinking this stuff which bio-accumulates in our bodies. It has gotten to the point that fish have a noticeable alteration in their sex and are becoming ambiguous. NBC also stated that the residuals, such as antibiotics, synthetic hormones in dangerous amounts, are getting into our drinking water. NBC also reported that candles made in China, Mexico and other 3rd world countries have lead in the wicks of the candles and are getting into our systems. I would like to also add that the cheaper candles are made of paraffin, a petro chemical, as opposed to the more desirable and expensive beeswax. Burning candles contributes to air pollution especially in areas where pollution is high. It burns the much needed oxygen in the ambient air. Now if we could only find a solution to people burning wood logs in their fireplaces, gas lawnmowers and using petro chemical lighter fluids to start the BBQ. Please forgive any nonsequitors tonight as it is getting late. AW
