I just read your site and being a survivor myself my heart goes out to you. I also had my implants removed and felt no relief and still am very sick. This has been going on now for 12 years. The anxiety attacks and pain are crippling so I turned to rx drugs and just got out of a detox center for clonazapam withdrawal. (Just another slam from Dow Corning.) I also have seen no compensation as of yet.

I feel I am being unfairly teated by doctors and the general public and no one seems to understand that when I throw-up after eating certain foods I am not bolemic, I am not arthritic, I am not crazy, I am not premenstraul, etc. etc. and the list goes on. All I can say is I am sorry I ever got those implants like many other women and try to discourage the use of them to anyone who will listen.

I am a 47 year old woman, with two girls, both grown up and on their own. I try to work but the field I was in is now too strenuous for me (nursing).

I have found a wonderful and loving man and things are better for me. He understands the problems I am having. But like many I am sure, I have become a master at hiding my pain. So I just try to go about my life the best I can and avoid the things in life that set me back physically. Not easy.

Now that I am off my drugs and painkillers I am having the same old pains again and don't know what to do about that yet. I guess I will have to wait to see how bad they get and go from there. I would be interested in writing and hearing from others about how they are dealing with this. Once again I enjoyed your site. Keep up the good work for us survivors.
