Hello,

I am a housewife and mother of two children with disabilities. I am not rich nor beautiful. I am a middle age woman who made the mistake of trusting. In 1978 I had silicone implants put in. I wore a AA cup bra and I was very insecure. My problems started in 1980. Since then I have had many operations and constant pain. I never associated my implants with my illnesses. I have been treated with drugs and I see a therapist. I was told that stress exacerbated my symptoms.

The last few months I have had excruciating pain in my joints and my left breast near my arm pit. I have had MRI's , blood test and so much more. None showed any abnormal blood tests and my implants have not ruptured. Yet I was given medications that were for cancer and other serious ailments. The doctors were treating me like a hysterical woman instead as a person suffering from pain. I have had two Caesarians, a Hysterotomy, tumors and have been diagnosed with Fibromyolagia, soft tissue disease, Barretts Esophagus and more. A specialist said that I should have the implants out and have a Mastopexy done. But without hard evidence that it is my implants my health insurance wont cover the operation.

I think that my implants do have something to do with my illnesses. What do you think? I know I'm not crazy.

Thank God for the Internet!

Sincerely,

Joyce
