dsoval@pacbell.netHi Ilena,
Thank you so much for placing me on you emails. Let me tell you about my self and see if my sisters out there have any of the same problems are I can help them. I am 58. I had my implants put in 2 days after a hysterectomy in 1981. I was told my 36C would go flat after the surgery. My ex arranged the implants. I was so out of my hormonal mind I thought it was a good idea. They hardened in less than a year. OI had them squeezed 3 times by doctors to break the scars. They continued to harden. Also since I was naturally big I kept growing. Now I am a 38DD/E. I have an apt. next we. 28 to see a plastic surgeon. Since I have chronic fatigue syndrome. fibromyalgia, joint pain throughout, lower back pain, in five years consecutive frozen shoulders, breathing problems, allergies...I will stop with that. I left my high paying
job to become a resident apartment manager so I can rest when I need to. Because of this the county takes care of my medical bills. I hope they will cover this. Last year they turned down my M.D. referral, but he has since sent me to an orthopaedic doctor that referred me to the P.S. I also am now doing my research preparing my paper work. I need a breast reduction, not only the implants removed. How has this worked for others. I am 5'71/2" and weigh 145lbs. on a small frame. Does I sway them that they have been in for over 19 years. Are there certain ones that are worse than others. Mine are by Baxter. I have more info. if needed. Help out there. Thank you.
Diane
Ilena, This is Diane Again. I forgot to tell you my P.S. will be at the U.C.S.D. Hospital in Hillcrest. I am taken care of by C.M.S. county medical services. They have covered everything in the past. I just have to prove to them It is necessary. I hope the referral from their own orthopaedic doctors at U.C.S.D. carries weight. They also have me going there the same day to start therapy for my lower back. I really appreciate your help.

~~~ Diane, make sure he knows to take out all of the scar tissue. I was there a couple of years ago with a woman, and they lectured me why they didn't do believe it was necessary. it is. good luck and keep in touch. my best,
Ilena ~~~
