Educating Oprah And Her Sponsors

At the risk of sounding ugly about Oprah, think about this, Oprah has thought about it.
How many people of color have had implants? How many people of color have had plastic surgery to correct birth defects?
I do think this may sound ugly to some, but to me it is not ugly because every one cannot do every thing. If it were black people being hurt, Oprah would be there in half a second.
When I was small and I was raised with out predigest. Some of my black friends mothers told me that the reason so many black women had children and were not married was because.
Number 1. The race intended to out populate the white people and one day they would rule the US.
Number 2. The government was helping them with this (may not know it) because they paid more each month in welfare for additional children. Only if they weren't married. They did live together however. Many had a strong family unit.
I can go on as I said, being raised with out predigest in the south with black friends gave me a good education into the hate (sometimes hidden, sometimes not) that is bred into the children from birth. They have movies and meetings to educate their race about the white people; that the white person never even knows about. (unless accepted into their circle.) Thank God you do not know about it.
When their was boycotts in the south of some stores the black race had decided to picket. One of my black friends had a dress from one of the stores because her boyfriend was coming home from overseas, it was so important to her. I watched with her as the black people from out of town took her dress and cut it to shreds. I felt so sorry for her.
There are good and bad in all races, and also many people have their own agenda. Because the white community watches Oprah, and votes for mayors and politicians does not make them like you any better, or feel your pain. I am sorry If their are so many of you that do not know personally Oprah and are disappointed in her lack of interest in the white plight with plastic surgeons.
Oprah is not afraid of any issue, Will take on anyone that she feels strongly about as she has made it to the "top." She would not be there if she had the fear of issues. Her goal as she has said in public is to help the people of color make it better in this world, become educated and raise their standard of living and rate of success in business. If you look at all the things she has and is doing, she is the first real role model that all the black community can identify with. I believe she is doing the things she has chosen to do for her race and is a great success story. My respect for her is along these lines.
I do also hope that one day the black community will stop teaching their children to hate white people from the day they are born. (believe it or not, that is today still one of the strongest messages taught to their children as a group.)
I pray as there are more successful people of color in all walks of life as we are seeing today, this message gradually gets left behind. I believe with all my heart it will one day.
No one can be born with and taught hate yet live a normal life as we see the results today in the crime rate of the young black boys and men.
If Oprah only has time to hopefully turn this around and make a difference. I take my hat off to her and we can get our message about breast implants out without her.
We need to understand the enormous job she has to do and the "Old Factory" of the black hate mongers are still out there.
Look what has happened to the "arian nation" that hates all other races. Hate only destroys any one that hates. I do mean anyone.
We are not (the majority of us) and have never been taught hate. We know love and understanding, therefore we have a lack of understanding the true picture and the very destructive things hate brings to people. We say we understand, but the experience is not really there for any of us to fully understand. Walk a mile in other shoes is the only way to feel it.
I will leave Oprah alone, and even though I do not watch her show, I will agree that she does not have to fight every issue and if she wants to have infomercials on TV for the money it brings her, she is free to. it will not cause any young black girl to get implants. If it does, we will not have to educate Oprah. believe me.
Hugs and I hope you understand.
Ruby

Within a month of coming back from the Washington Rally in 1995, I sent Oprah "tons" of printed studies and breast implant information, as well as, "videos" from the June 1994 Cincinnati "Pals" Conference, and a personal story, from one of our local black women who has since died from her polyurethane implant that was implanted after a mastectomy. I didn't hear from Oprah, so I followed up with a letter a couple of months later. To date, I have not heard a word from her.
Oprah knows "our" story. And personally, I just don't understand her current position. Needless to say, I am very disappointed in her being a part of leading women astray with the airing of a "pro" breast implant show.

When she begins to lose veiwers and advertisers she might take notice. Considering her posture regarding this issue, it makes it all the more important to write to the advertisers of her show...after all, once again it is about money, and the sponsors of a show do not wish to lose money and will drop their sponsorship if their polls show a significant drop in the profit picture.

We have sent emails and the Medical Malpractice Journal to Oprah. Our emails are now automatically returned. The issue of people of color and white coat white collar crime is serious. VJC suspects, and has reason to believe, that they are hurt much worse. It appears that Oprah is unwilling to get involved in such a political issue despite the fact that people are being killed at an estimated rate of 300,000 - 500,000 a year.
This number doesn't include the traumatized families or those injured (paralyzed, brain damaged, sterilized etc...).

The sponsors have to be educated to know just what is going on with these "feel good" shows. I looked at Oprah today and wondered if they had had a special on implants or if she were wearing a padded bra.
I suggest that those who want to write to the sponsors, do so and include some of the facts you have learned over the past few years. Keep the letters to one page, use colored paper and envelopes, and, if possible, send them "return receipt requested".
You can be sure that I will write to the local advertisers for her show. I bought a car from one of them, RV parts from another, and health food items from a third. Oprah is not naive. She knows just exactly what is happening and who pays the big money for her shows. She can't be so stupid as to believe that as part of the media, her time isn't being bought too. She knows.
Oprah also should understand that, just as White women were targeted by the ASPRS and DOW, that in some back room since 1992, they have gathered to pronounce our children and other women of other races as their targets. Only this time, there will be no class action litigation that can uncover their deed.
