Micheline, good afternoon and how is Tony? I hope he is comfortable and getting better.

Knowing what I do about my Bart, the pressure and worry on him and Tony also is almost unbearable. They live our pain and have so much pressure and worries Micheline. No, it is not our fault and we do our best to relieve what ever we can, but they love us almost as much as we love them and it is so hard on them. Let Tony see this and he will yell ALMOST, LOL

I know you get the things sent on the Onelist as well as Ilena's, list. So, I will ask you what you need for me to do to help you get things together for the meeting or how ever your country will decide on the banning of breast implants altogether.

I am going to go through everything I have saved on my computer for you, but you have been on line so much longer than I have, you have it all I am sure. it may be a matter of bringing it to the front of the list. I will try to help with that.

I will also write you a letter with some of my thoughts as a person why the US of A is about to approve the Saline implants. The FDA. Maybe if I explain it in a letter a little better from one person's view, it will help. We do need one country like Canada that cares more for their people than they do about money to lead the way in banning these deadly implants.

We do wish you luck and the ability to show your government the truth. It is all out there, just a matter of getting it together. In the US our hospitals are here to make a profit. Not save money on any level. At one time we may have had the best system for many things. That is no longer true. Our health community is so lost because they are trying to work with a program they are trying to copy from other countries, with out the benefits of the base the other country has. Much like the Soviet Union is trying to change their entire economy with people that have no understanding of it nor the background needed to make it happen. It will take years and the growing up of another generation to get the peoples there to have the same level of ambitious changes needed to make it successful. I use ambition only for lack of the right word. Bet you know what I mean though. It is so hard every where it seems like today.

Micheline, I just hope a lot of man made poisons do not do so much damage to our world and people that it can never come back, and I am hoping and praying it has not already happened. We see the deadly nuclear accident in Japan, and people far away and in the US think, "oh, that is such a shame." "No real controls in place." (There have been many accidents in the US and the controls in place did not make it any better.) Do many Americans know this? I really do not think they have been paying attention. If you were to ask one hundred people walking on the street how many such accidents have happened here, not one could tell you. It wasn't until after this last accident in Japan that I even bothered to do the research to find out there have been eighteen such accidents right here in the U.S. I also hope Canada starts screaming about these things as it does affect every one in the world. I may be a little wrong on my figures, but one accident here is enough. Two is very wrong, and after the third there should be no more ever. Unless no one every learns anything. I am beginning to think that is the case.

Here in the U.S. we have all become statistics. A head count if you will. Single people here do not matter any more. Much like the Pinto car company thinking. Even our FDA is looking at every one in that light.

Micheline, I was born here and I am one proud American. However I see the real things that have happened here and do not close my eyes to the things that have to be changed here for the world to be a better place. A little at a time, with eyes up lifted, we have been blinded by the PR that America has been telling itself about itself.

I have traveled to many places in this world, Canada, England, Sweden, Germany, and so many more beautiful places. Bart and I so enjoyed this travel and I hope you are interested enough in our trips to one day let us tell you about them.

You may know this Micheline. A long time ago many people from many countries came to America and wanted to come here very badly. Today, the people that come here and really want to come here are mostly from Mexico, (even they do not want to become citizens, only to make a living here and then go back to Mexico.) People from countries that are in a state of war, and many of the people from China and Japan come here to have their children so they have multi-national citizenship. I guess that is just in case.

I do know we will be able to make changes here for the better, but they will come almost as slowly as the changes for the worst have come upon us while we were each busy living our on lives within our family. Of course we were not watching what was happening. Also, the fact that we were so trusting of every one here didn't help us either. I do hope we can keep most of the trust for most of the people of our country while trying to make these changes.

Pray for us, America need it more that I can explain to you.

Love and hope for better things in the future.

Ruby
