Dear Ladies,
Jan (CDS-wonbyone) appears to be really on to something with the
thrombogenic effects of silicone. She has done an immense amount of research, and has done so for all of us...not just for herself.
Her research has provided us with an excellent data base on the alt.disc.breast-implant board. I, for one, am extremely grateful to her for her efforts. She is ill, just like the rest of us, yet she continues to press forward.
She really needs some more input in regards to our chlolesterol levels, our blood clotting times, and how long we had our implants in our bodies. This research could provide us with valuable answers, and could possibly explain why some of us have TIA's and strokes.
Therefore, it is of the utmost importance that she receives ample responses in order to make a valid conclusion.
Please send her your answers. You may remain anonymous if you would like. Your name is not important to this study, only your answers are.
Her email addy is:
wonbyone@avci.netWe really appreciate your responses to this request and Jan will post her findings when she is finished. She also has some great ideas as to who to contact about this and plans to write letters explaining her findings.
Because the doctors are either unbelievers, do not wish to invest their time, or just don't want ot be involved in this issue, it is so important that we all pull together and try to find some answers ourselves. If we all research and share our findings with eachother....we just may happen to find a way to improve our health...or, if God is willing, find a way to heal completely. I have always felt that it was up to us to figure this out, because there isn't a doctor alive who is going to provide us with a protocol of treatment so long as this case remains in litigation. To treat us with a protocol of their own could cost them their licenses. We all know that this will not be out of the courts for many, many years to come. So, we must take it upon ourselves to find answers...and share the answers we do find. This is why Ilena's newsgroup, SBI-talk, and the other discussion groups are so important to us. They not only provide emotional support, but provide us with a network system that allows us to communicate any "remedies" which have helped any of us.
Please send Jan your answers, and please don't forget to send your testimonials to Sharon Noakes, who is also working on a project to help all of us. It is ok if you wish to remain anonymous. Like I said, we just need your information...not your identity.
I would like to take this time to thank all of the women who have invested many hours of their time to this cause. We all have our part to do, as we are all in this together. Each of us have talents that are very valuable to the "cause" and we must use them to help eachother. If you are currently researching or have some suggestions on how to deal with this illness, please share it with the rest of us....together we can beat this thing....alone...we will all surely parish.
I am currently working on four different projects, and will post my findings on my web page. I welcome you to view the page as information is posted. I am in the process of adding a lot of valuable data. It is my hope that my findings will help all of us deal with this illness, and at the very least, provide some answers for us.
God Bless Each of You,
Lany
