Dear Bill:

In follow-up to our conversation this morning, I have received version 2 (6/18/92) of the proposal, "A Retrospective Cohort Study of Breast Implants and Connective Tissue and Other Disorders." It appears to be an interesting piece of research.

Per our discussion, I anticipate Dow Corning will be interested in supporting research on women's health issues to the extent of 1.2 million dollars. I need to determine the conditions under which the funds can be provided to the Brigham Medical Center; but probably won't be able to do that until later this week or next. When the details are finalized, I will contact you.

Sincerely,

Ralph R. Cook, M.D.
