TRAM FLAP / TISSUE TRANFERS

We have decided to add a section on the tram flap and tissue transfers as it has come to our knowledge that there is very little out in the net for us to go to, so we decided to dedicate a section to this.

According to 2000 BREAST SURGERY STATISTICS by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, 31% of breast reconstructions were with tissue transfers. There were 78,832 breast reconstructions in 2000. The Tram Pedicle flap made up 19%, Microsurgical Flap was 5%, and Latimuss Dorsi Flap was 7%.

Women are turning to tissue flaps/transfers, even more so after the scare with the implants and once again they are given no warning to the consequences. It is not the women's fault they are injured by the tram flap procedure because of choosing a wrong surgeon, but because they were brainwashed into thinking this was the best alternative to go to, using our own tissue, and rectus muscle.

The Tram procedure was never intended to make a breast, but was used originally to reconstruct an abdomen. The Tram is a Rogue Medical Procedure. It's unacceptable to destroy a healthy, needed part of the body, to make it a "Transplant" for a breast that women don't need to function in everyday life.

This site is to inform women on the TRAM FLAP / TISSUE TRANFERS and to shed some light on the problems, so women are able to make a INFORMED DECISION.

The point of all this is not the surgeon's talent, it's the violation of a women's body when another human being severs needed large muscles in her body, that she needs to walk, bend, lift. etc. When these muscles are severed, it is like a rubber band snapped in two, there is no going back, you can't explant a TRAM. The damage is FOREVER.

This site will direct women, who are contemplating these procedures, or who have been through this to women's testimonies, and to information regarding these procedures so a woman can make a INFORMED DECISION.
