They are the one's who are marketing breast implants to unsuspecting, trusting women, as we once were, and they are they are the ones who can stop the use of them. IMHO, these societies are the only ones who can stop this travesty, if, and only if they are willing to give up the financial benefits they receive from poisoning women.

The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery This site includes information on the society as well as consumer information regarding various surgical procedures with illustrations, FAQs and patient advocacy issues.
The Plastic Surgery Information Service This site is sponsored by the ASPRS and Plastic Surgery Educational Foundation. The site contains news relating to plastic surgery issues. It also includes consumer information on various procedures with pictures and diagrams.
