Dear Representative Bliley, and Dr. Jane Henney:

I had originally begun this letter as just a way to vent my anger and my frustrations, however, it has become a letter of the feelings from my heart, I pray that you will take the time out of your busy schedules to read it. I have just finished reading the post that the general council for Mentor, Mr. Douglas Aultschulter wrote, and stated in the last paragraph, that this was a private matter between Mentor, and the FDA. It was a private matter between we women and the manufacturing company responsible for our illnesses too, but that did not stop them from making our problems very public, so why does Mr. Altschuler feel that he has the right to keep the accusations against Mentor private between Mentor and the FDA. Aren't the reasons for these investigations because of we women? If so, then why don't we have the right to know the outcome? Mentor certainly had no problems depositioning, and making public our medical problems, why is it now, that they want their wrong doing kept private? Just another proof just how deceitful and lying the manufacturing companies truly are. Why can't they just accept it, we all know the truth about them, and have known the truth for many years, so we don't need an FDA investigation to tell us just how crooked Mentor and the rest of the manufacturers are, we are living proof of it. Just take a look at any one of us, or look at any one of our medical records, that is where the living proof and the truth of all this injustice truly is. This just seems to be another one of their tactics to try and keep us women in the dark. Well, Mr. Altschuler, too bad, our candles are lit, and the light will continue to shine. Isn't it so true-the truth will always come out, and the TRUTH SHALL SET YOU FREE. We no longer have to hide our illnesses, it is time we all light our candles and come out of the dark. We have known for years that the manufacturing/chemical companies are decietful, lying, money hungry companies that don't give one cent about our lives, it is just a business to them, and the name of the game for them is money. This is no secret, nothing to keep private, there are hundreds of thousands of women that know very well that the chemical companies, and our government would rather sweep this insidious issue under the rug, than to be the honest, forthright government that we believed with all our hearts would be there to take care of this for us, and to vindicate their wrong doing in this. Well, they have managed to keep their money, and they have managed to hide their wrongdoings, they have even managed to somehow skirt the issue of the untimely and unnecessary deaths of several of our sisters, but the truth is now finally coming out. I am sad that so many of us now are too sick to celebrate the truth, but at least we will go to our graves knowing that we were right all along about our government and the justice system of this country, the very people that we voted into office.- How ironic it is, we voted in the very people who were willing to look the other way and let us die horrible deaths, all in the name of money. I wonder if their money helps them to sleep at night. I know that my pain keeps me from allowing sleep to comfort me.

(Disclaimer- this is my opinion, and my opinion only. I do not speak on behalf of any one certain person, however, I believe that I speak for all the women out there that are too sick and now dying due to the damage that their breast implants have caused them. This is however, my opinion, and my opinion only. Again, I repeat so that this be legally known that I am speaking on behalf of my own opinion so there is no question of liable or slander here, just one very sick (poisoned) women's opinion, according to the freedom of speech act,) I pray that God's wrath will befall Mentor, and all the others, especially Dow. Let the truth finally be known and brought to the attention of the public. We are now in our second generation of silicone toxicity, innocent babies, and children are being born with silicone toxicity, and yet they still refuse to take responsibility for what they have done to us. Ask any of the husbands or the father's who have already lost their wives and their babies to silicone poisoning, and see how they feel about the truth. Ask them what the truth is- let them tell us all how their loved one suffered and died in so much pain and anguish that they were actually relieved to see them pass away so that their pain and suffering would finally be at an end. Why doesn't the FDA just read some of our medical records to get the truth. Why don't they analysis for themselves some of the ingredients in silicone gel implants, and analysis the bacteria and fungus in saline implants, let the truth finally be known. I would be more than happy to let the FDA have my medical records, I would even be more than delighted to let them exam me personally.

Let them see just how sick I am, and that there is no other cause for it -other than poison that had been put into my body. I did not even ask to have them, after my mastectomy, my doctor decided on his own that I needed them. I was poisoned to the point that I am going to die, and I did not even get to have a say so on the issue. Why won't the FDA talk with some of us women who are living proof of what their implants did to us. I was on file with the CDC back in the late '70's early 80's because of the rare bacterial infection that I carry in my body due to the poisonous chemicals that are in the gel of silicone. Yet because Dow has all the money and "top attorneys" on their payroll, we women are going to be allowed to die, without even getting a chance for them to say why they are dying. The time for vindication is at hand, we are long past the time of putting the blame on them, we are all aware of where the blame lies. It is not just the chemical companies, it is the doctors, and lawyers, and judges who were bought off so that the chemical companies could win this law suit. Well, it is about to come to an end now, and I pray that the blood money that they were bribed with burns a hole in their conscience.

That is all it is good for now. The bribing has to stop, the lying and the cheating and the deceitfulness must end. We women are too sick to continue to fight, and play the games of these chemical companies. Dow paid 12 million dollars to a PR firm. How far could that 12 million have gone to help our sick and dying sisters? I am too tired to fight anymore, all I want to do is see that the truth finally come out, and the world will finally know that it was the chemical companies that caused it, not the women themselves. Let the blame lie where it belongs. Let the women finally have peace. We are sick, and we are dying, we are not money grubbing women who want to win this suit so that we can go out on a shopping spree, or go on a vacation. We need the money to pay our medical debts because the insurance companies have either denied our claims, or have canceled our policies all together. We are tired, and we are sick, all we want is what is what is owed to us. Nothing more. We are honest, God fearing women who only want what is right. Let the truth be known finally. I implore you Representative Billy, and Dr. Henley, do the right thing, for a change, tell it like it is- let the truth prevail. Don't let all of our deaths be in vain, Let it be known that we were not "insane" women who just wanted lots of money, Let the truth finally speak for itself, let the world know that silicone gel is a poison, and when it is leaked into the body, it does irreprehensible damage that cannot be ignored any longer by the FDA, and the government officials that we helped vote into office. I implore you, don't let the death of these women who have gone on before us to pave our way, be in vain. If their deaths were in vain, it would then be on the heads of our government. The same government that states it exists for and by the people of the United States of America. I would love to see our government finally, and for once, do the right thing. Take these bags of poison off the market, and stop letting the lobbyists rule our country. Let the government of the United States take back their positions, and stop lobbyists, and corporations with large sums of money literally bribe our officials to do what they want them to.

What a sad statement this has become, that our country is no longer run by the officials that we have voted into office, but by the corporations and lobbyists with the most amount of money. If these corporations were truly for the American people, then let them use their money to help us women who are sick, and dying, and some so broke that they must go on welfare to survive. What kind of statement does that send to the rest of the world?

I know that for myself, I am so far in debt because of medical problems, I will never be able to be debt free. I would love to be able to spend what time I have left living where I have always dreamed of, traveling to see the sights of the world, sharing my wealth with those in need. Instead, all I can do is dream of that, and not answer my phone because of so many bill collectors calling. If I could pay off just what I owe in medical bills alone, I would be able to pay off this house, sell it, and buy a new one where I want to live, and be able to buy a car. You see, some dreams don't come true.

I beg you, please do the right thing. I know that you would be bucking the system, but isn't honesty, and your soul worth doing the right thing? Don't let us all die in vain. Let us know that we died to protect the next generation, so that they could live. Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedules to read my letter. I know that I have gone on a bit long, however, how long must a letter be to instill in your hearts and mind the life of just one woman, let alone the thousands that I have no time to mention, but who have not been forgotten. God Bless you both, and I send my prayers that you will have the bravery needed to address this issue.

Thank you again for your time, and your cooperation in this very

controversial issue.

Sincerely,

B.L.Samberg-Lucas ( Sami Lucas)
