Hi everyone, Thanks for your help. I just got off the phone with Dr. Blais. He said that getting the Lot History for the Implants would help. I need the lot History for H080960 Dow Implants. If I can get the lot history than perhaps I can prove that the implants I received back after the explants were not mine. I've been told that the manufacturers of the implants were offering a bounty to the surgeon's for ruptured implants. This may explain the switch. Does anyone know how I could get the lot history information? My capsules were not taken out in full and I am getting sicker with rheumatic problems. They should have been taken out right away I signed for a capsulectomy however only received a partial capsulectomy. At this point Dr. Blais said that 2 years after the explant is usually the best time to get the remaining capsule out. If I understand him correctly it is because scar tissue forms around the remaining capsule and it can come out in lumps. I had second generation implants for 18 years. I had them out for health reasons in Feb. 99. Second generation implants have a rupture rate of 95% with that duration time. With the problems I was having and the testing by Dr. Blais I feel positive that I never received back my implants. Now what to do about it. Any suggestions? Jane
