Informing the young & update on Sharyn
I've been doing something that I think is a step in educating the young people today about the dangers of implants. My daughter who is 21 now has a lot of friends and contacts. Most of her friends come to my home and of course call me mom. My door has always been open to all of them and they all seem to respect and like me. The know I'm tuff and don't stand for crap and they all know what I have been going through due to the implants I had. They all know that I m deformed and they all know the whole story of my health and how these time bombs were killing me. I can honestly say that I know that not one young lady that has come into my home will ever feel the need to get implants. I think those of us, which I am sure is the majority, who are mothers need to have this type of openness with not only our own children, but and only if your are comfortable with it, their friends as well. I think that many of you would be surprised just how open these young people are today and how interested they are knowing the ill effects of something that we were told were so safe. I figure if we want to really help we start at the generation that someday will be responsible for running this country and who will be the ones in the future who can make a difference. Perhaps in the future our cause and fight will not be forgotten.
Now the update on my amputated part of my thumb. It's not doing to good right now and my primary doctor is going to have me go to a hand specialist. I may need some skin graphs. She's a little worried because of me being a class 2 diabetic. I have begun to have some pain in the last couple of days and it's now going on two weeks since I had that battle with the paper cutter. It doesn't look like it is infected, but it doesn't look like it's healing either. Oh well. I'm sure time will tell. I use to heal quickly, but this one isn't doing it. Guess I cut it worse than I originally thought.
