Our center is a member of the Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids

Our center is a member of the Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids. Almost every adult who dies from smoking-related illnesses started as a child, and in recent years women are catching up to men in their chances of dying from smoking. That is why we are trying to prevent children from smoking.

The U.S. government has a law suit against the tobacco companies, and this is being used to pressure the companies from promoting and selling cigarettes to kids. However, the Bush Administration has refused to provide the needed funds for this law suit.

If you believe that the tobacco companies should be held accountable, please take a few minutes and read the message below, which is from the director of the Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids. And feel free to send it on to your friends.

Best wishes,

Diana Zuckerman

I have a quick favor to ask of you. I'm concerned about the fact that, every day in America, 3,000 more kids become addicted to tobacco - one third of whom will die prematurely.

I'm helping to launching an Internet campaign to tell President Bush to make Big Tobacco clean up its act. Will you help? Just click here to send a free message to President Bush: http://www.DontPardonBigTobacco.org

Big Tobacco gave over $8.3 million in campaign contributions in the 2000 election cycle alone. Now the tobacco industry wants President Bush to kill the federal lawsuit against the tobacco industry.

Big Tobacco doesn't deserve a presidential pardon. Tell President Bush to hold the Tobacco industry accountable and support the federal government's tobacco lawsuit, which would force the tobacco industry to stop deceiving the public and marketing to kids.

It only takes a minute to help. And if you forward this message to your friends and family, we'll really get the ball rolling.
